We are working with Joomla 1.7 and two languages, english and Spanish, with native joomla 1.7 traslation metode.

Without acesef everything works ok, language filter detect the language of your system and load the home menu option of the language detected, home spanish or home english, never the home of the default menu option.

But when we install the acesef, the language filter doesn't work and then load the home of the default menu option.

And also with the acesef, when you click the flag to change the language, it works bad.
The acesef broke the native language system of joomla 1.7

Any idea? We want to work with acesef and buy, but first we need to know that it works perfectly with joomla 1.7 native language system.

Firstly update your AceSEF please and after set your "Joom!Fish Main language" setting as "none".

Thanks for your reply. Kindly note that I have installed the latest version of Acesef, 1.7, and the Joomfish Main Language was already set to "none", as we are not using Joomfish, so the problem still remains.

And the problem is on the root www.lovingthailand.com , this url load the default menu option, missing the language filter.

Root have to load the language home page of your system language, without acesef works ok.

I am facing a similar problem - I setup My J1.7 site using a multilingual setup tutorial and works perfectly. I have 2 languages. Then I added AceSEF and Adsmanager extension that I have subscribed to. Every thing works as expected WITHOUT AceSEF but when I use AseSEF, I get only one language URLs that is there at the time I click switch.
WITHOUT AceSEF, in the URLs it shows either /en or /mr depending upon language I switch but after AceSEF, I get only one of them in URLs and other languages URLs are not generated.

I dont use Joomfish - so that link in your previous post would not help me.

Any help is appreciated.

I can even send you another site details where AceSEF is installed but not working as expected.

Could you update your Acsef and post the demo links when AceSEF enabled?

if you look at first 2 links they are correct before and after acesef however

the second 2 link for english (en) language is created under marathi (mr).

look at the links at bottom - adsm is marathi and adse for english, however the list below generated after acesef does not include adse at all and sometimes it is the other way round.
