when setting "Add forum to URL" to NO in kunena acesef extension, it will remove forum/subforum from all urls. Example

before: www.mysite.com/forum/some-forum/some-thread
after: www.mysite.com/forum/some-thread

however the link to that forum/subforum alone wont exist anymore

before: www.mysite.com/forum/some-forum/
after: www.mysite.com/forum/

so none of the forums and subforums will be available as they will go to the same url www.mysite.com/forum/

how do i make to exclude "forum in url" only for threads but leave as it is for the forum and subforums themselfes.

You are right. I just updated the extension. There won't be 'NO' for forum options anymore. Could you describe more about your desire for exluding forum.

Hi,

Normally that request could be done but it doesn't meen that all user want this. So it not possible to publish the extension with this forum option, because other categories are connected with forum. They are forum's subcategories. You can see here:
www.joomlaseosuite.net/kunena/categories

If you want an extension whithout main forum's name you should buy this:
www.joomace.net/e-shop/joomla-services/extension-support
And we can design the enxtension as you want.
