[SOLVED] Metadata Feature Inaccessible!? 1 Month, 1 Week ago
|
|
I noticed that when I add urls to my sitemap in acesef for xml, then it has red text saying no title for meta data.. ( I have it set to add data if empty, so this is strange), I then tried accessing my metadata section to see, but I get a long error message:
"Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'AceDatabase::showError failed. (Column 'url_sef' in where clause is ambiguous SQL=SELECT m.id FROM mac_acesef_metadata AS m, mac_acesef_urls AS u WHERE m.url_sef = u.url_sef AND u.url_real LIKE '%option=com_content%' AND LOWER(url_sef) LIKE '%design-services%')' in /home/user/public_html/administrator/components/com_acesef/library/database.php:155 Stack trace: #0 /home/user/public_html/administrator/components/com_acesef/library/database.php(111): AceDatabase->showError() #1 /home/user/public_html/administrator/components/com_acesef/models/metadata.php(311): AceDatabase->loadResultArray('SELECT m.id FRO...') #2 /home/user/public_html/administrator/components/com_acesef/library/model.php(60): AcesefModelMetadata->_buildViewWhere() #3 /home/user/public_html/administrator/components/com_acesef/models/metadata.php(21): AcesefModel->_buildViewQuery() #4 /home/user/public_html/libraries/joomla/application/component/model.php(129): AcesefModelMeta in /home/user/public_html/administrator/components/com_acesef/library/database.php on line 155
I have just upgraded to acesef v1.5.8 prior to this happening, how can this error be fixed please?
Thanks in advanced.

What info do you mean? Its MySQL v5.0.91 I beleieve it was a htaccess rule that was causing the error, as I can now view my meta section. However, the urls still are not taking the meta data, and show the red message: "Empty title or no Metadata, add new" ... Tried deleting the url in my sitemap, and adding it again, but same red message?

"where clause is ambiguous" error message is an MySQL restriction mode error, you can also ask it to your hosting company.
The second/last one says you've just a sitemap record with "design-services" SEF URL. SEF URL is a unique field.

So basically, this error and the problem of the metadata not showing for urls in the sitemap, is due to mySql restrictions?
If so, I find it rather strnge, as all was working untill I upgraded to 1.5.8, does the latest version require a "less strict" mySql? Looking at the changelog however, I doubt it...
And also, it only happens to about 4 urls in the sitemap section, other urls can be added fine without and red messages shown

Yes sir.

It can also be caused if you've filtered any component in Metadata section and created a new record with even if it doesn't exist in URLs section.

I asked my hosting company, and they said they cant really do anything about the ambiguous error message, as there is not a button/setting for it... But as for the metadata section, I have set it so it only generates data if empty, but I I disable that option the error still occurs, I have tried deleting the table via phpmyadmin too, but no success with the red message! I see no way that there is a duplicate of the metadata and seeing as though it's occurring only after upgrading to v1.5.8, I would say it's a "bug" with the new version? As I have tried everything else, and have spent the last few days trying to fix the solution as search engines are not accepting the red urls...?

Im getting exactly the same. Anybody have a solution??
Oh and i just saw some strange behavor,
If i change the items to be display pr page to say "all". Then the errors disappear. If i change it to "5" I suddenly get 4 errors, change display to "10" i see 6 errors. Change it to "20" i see only 4 now, and so on. Whats up with this??
Bug?

With much frustration, I have again recreated my metadata and urls again.
Its very stange, but all was okay (no red messages) untill I reached over 20 urls,on my 21st urls, the red messages came back for random urls too.
Any url I now add shows the red message,
as does for erik.
