After a hard work we've finally released the first Joomla 1.7 compatible version of the magnificent Joomla Search component, AceSearch. There is no new features, only compatibility with Joomla 1.6+. Due to the different code structure of Joomla 1.6+, it is not backward compatible with Joomla 1.5. For Joomla 1.5, use AceSearch 1.5.
AceSearch 1.7 is disctributed separately from AceSearch 1.5 because it is a complete new work & development. The AceSearch extensions are compatible with both AceSearch 1.5 & 1.7
