unfortunetly acesef (1.5.5 Joomla 1.5.21) is not creating tags, when i click on generate tags? I get the message, that tags are created, but there are not tags?
Please help

Go to AcSEF=>Configuration=>Tags, choose in which components you want to show tags. Don't forget, tags are related to keywords, so you should use words of keywords list. Read this:

thanks for your answer! But i have allready choosen content, alphacontent, virtuemart...
When i click on generate tags message comes up and says tags are generated, but there are no tags. Also when i try to make new tag, there is no word comming up when i try to put in the titel???
How comes?

Pleeaase help me...

1. Make sure you've selected those components in "Automatic Tags" area.
2. Make sure you've metadata in AceSEF=>Metadata page that has entries in Keywords field.

We too are experiencing problems with tags even after following the documentation and forum posts. Tags show fine in Joomla articles but virtuemart just doesn't want to display anything on the product or category pages.
We tried to get this feature working when acesef version 1.51 was installed and gave up. We have just upgraded acesef and the acesef virtuemart extension to the latest versions this morning and the issue still remains. Tags are generating fine but not displaying in the browser. Tags have been enabled in the seo URLs.
Any help apreciated.

You should check the "VirtueMart=>Configuration=>Global=>Enable content mambots / plugins in descriptions?" option.

Hi Yes, We have checked that and it as always been enabled, should we disable it?
